Mary Ann Hall has been practicing law since 1994. She practices family law primarily in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties but accepts clients outside these counties. Depending on the client's needs, she can handle a case from start to finish or offer limited scope representation. Fee arrangements are either hourly or a flat fee, depending on the complexity of the case. Prior to representation, potential clients should anticipate a two hour consultation.
Mary Ann now offers services in animal law. Her focus is representing clients with breeding, performance and show animals. Additionally, she assists in contract disputes, including pet custody cases. Mary Ann was a speaker at South Carolina's first Animal Law Committee Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminar on January 23, 2014.
She is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the State of South Carolina. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar Association. Member of and past Director of the South Carolina Women Lawyer's Association and the Charleston County Bar Association. She is a member of the Animal Law Committees of the American Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar Association.
An active member in the non-profit community, Mary Ann devotes pro-bono hours to Family Services, Inc. where she is Chairman of the Board. She serves as a South Carolina Bar Association Mentor. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Weimaraner Club of America and a member of the Greater Charleston and Tarheel Weimaraner Clubs.
